Wyvern Lingo

Wyvern Lingo approached me in 2021 with the task of designing the deluxe version of their second album “Awake You Lie”.
All of the beautiful imagery had already been produced for many of the singles on the album by the talented 1iing, so it was a really just a matter of laying out the lyrics and credits in a way that showcased the meaning of each song and allowed the gorgeous artwork to shine and be the hero of the packaging.

Using traditional typography and highlighting chorus’ or notable lines in the songs, I laid the album out in a way that the type was working in a rhythm with the floating imagery. The end result is an ethereal communication which guides you through the story of the songs.
